Welcome to Scatterbrain.Media, where chaos meets creativity in the digital realm!

I’m Daryn DeZengotita, a self-proclaimed Canva Ninja and ChatGPT-assisted wordsmith hoping to generate enough remote work to fund my imminent escape to Lake Chapala, MX.

From crafting mind-blowingly mediocre graphic designs on Canva, to spicing up the vanilla-mush pablum text from our robot overlords, I’ve got it all covered. Let’s take mediocrity to new heights by infusing it with unrivaled passion and unconventional thinking! Let’s break free from the ordinary, as we create captivating visuals and compelling copy that defy the norms!

Or, we could just get the job done and get on with it. Your call. So buckle up and get ready to dive into the electrifying chaos of Scatterbrain.Media!

Social Media Strategy

Authentic. Relevant. Consistent. Social media strategy must be all of these things, but it also must be frequent, and everywhere. We help clients find simple strategies and effective tools to tell compelling stories on daily or weekly schedules.

PopUp Coworking

Work Together, People.
PopUp Coworking is for those solopreneurs and small business owners who want to dip their toe in the coworking trend, but haven’t settled on a space yet. Also, a great option for folks who travel a lot or who don’t have the budget for a monthly membership.

We have a sorta regular schedule, but it’s always good to check the calendar because #scatterbrain. Memberships start at only $25, or pay what you can.

On Tuesdays, we slow it down with Decelerator: Mindful Coworking at Central Christian Church in Dallas. We start with a tea ceremony, serving each other a single, common tea. We each check in and set our intentions for the day, then watch a TED Talk that echoes our weekly theme from Every Monday Matters. We share lunch in community, followed by open coworking. Daryn DeZengotita and Ken Crawford are available for 1:1s.

Wednesdays are a wild card and find us in creative spaces to help get over the hump. Some regular spots are Union for coffee+community+cause, Market Provisions at Farmers Market, Generator Coffee on the square in Garland, Rockwall’s Book Club Cafe and the jewel of Downtown Dallas, Klyde Warren Park. Have an idea for a space? Let us know!

Thursdays, we go west to Arts Mission Oak Cliff, an innovative restoration of a historic church that is now a spectacular performance venue. There will be tacos.

Fridays, we head home to where it all began, The Grove, for Bloggers Collective. It’s an accountability group for those of us who really meant to get those blog posts done all week. Really. Late in the afternoon, we celebrate with a selection of local beers on tap!

Table Coworking

Accelerated Serendipity

In the Coworking Movement, that’s what it’s all about. It’s what happens when you create a space where a mobile app developer works alongside a caterer, next to a real estate agent and across the table from a choreographer.

It’s multi-disciplinary, it’s multi-generational, it’s multi-everything. It takes on a dynamic life of its own, filled with creativity and spirit. It’s community.

When a thoughtful improvisational spirit is combined with radical hospitality, something special happens. Every day.

For spaces that are primarily used on evenings and weekends, we can help your staff connect with your neighborhood in ways that will begin to animate the space all week long.

  • A Sunday school classroom becomes sewing lab while another becomes a dance studio.
  • A long-neglected industrial kitchen becomes a hub for culinary artisans and a source of revenue.
  • A patch of ground becomes a labyrinth and community garden.

We don’t know how Accelerated Serendipity will happen for you, we just know that it will if given the space to bloom.
